Happy Birthday! Enjoy your present. I can certainly add my own compliments about the quality of the SK line. They are the most consistent shafts I've worked with. Makes a clubmaker's life easy. And they have a very nice feel and response. I'm talking about both the Tour Trac 80 and Pure Energy.
The big difference between them is weight. If you want a shorter (like 44") driver, the Pure Energy may be too light. If you're willing to weight the head considerably or live with a light swingweight, then go for it; the ideal driver would have no weight in the shaft and all the weight in the head. Cheers!
