Did you happen to tip cut this shaft before installing? What is the finished length?
Loft? If the club IS too short, why don't you add an extension to the butt? Good starting point and very inexpensive.As for your "cut slice" do you hood or deloft the club? What is the trajectory of the ball flight?
Just built a set of clubs for a customer with this problem (low ball flight "cut shot"). When adjusting loft/lie found that his problem was closing face and "hooding" the head. Suggested some swing changes - problem solved! It was his solution to a hook! Lie angle correction could have solved his problem before he sold his newly reshafted Maxfli blades! Maxfli clubs resold and to be reshafted again!
