Yes, a lot of the photos show the head twisting slightly open, but I don't
think torque has anything to do with what happens to the ball (from my dad's
bulge patent research). The head is rotating around its cg...the shaft plays no
part in what happens at impact. Since the shaft was flexing forward and
face was slightly closed before impact, the hit was slightly toward the
toe...and head rotates open, while gearing ball with a draw spin. Good drive.
