If you are talking about reaming taper heads to parallel you may need more than one reamer, in fact, two or three to get a proper job. If I learned properly from RK you shave a little out at a time until you reach your desired inside diameter. It's not good practice to go for one pass to ream to 0.373". Hard on the reamer, hard on the head and you need lots of "Tap Magic". Still for $45 you could easily buy 3 HSS reamers from MSC. Also recommend using hot, soapy dishwater (Dawn works real good) to wash out all metal shavings & machine oil. Works like a champ.
