I haven't replaced my jaws, but they aren't worn too badly. All of the irons are flat against the bars, so I agree that I can't see how the new jaws would make that much of a difference.
I called Scotland last week and they still have parts for most of the older machines, except for really old machines.

No, I haven't. I have done two things:
1) The post that holds the Loft and Lie angle gauges (screws into the side of the base) wasn't at 90* to the base, so I shimmed that to 90*.
2) The piece (small rectangular block) that holds the "swing arm" to the base had a screw broken off in it (one of the cap screws that holds the small block to the base). That was removed and replaced.
I got it from Mitchell. The problems wouldn't have been apparent to them. I retrospect I should have returned it, but I had waited about a year for my name to come up on their list, so I was just happy to get it.
Arnie say that replacing the top and bottom jaws would fix things, but I don't think so. The club face is flat against the bars that hold it, so the Loft measurements wouldn't be affected (at least I don't see how). The club face's scorelines are parallel to the "flat thing that is used to check club lie orientation" so I don't see how new jaws would help here (but I may be missing something). Having said this, the jaws are very worn.

Scott, I bought a used Scotland. I should say a VERY used Scotland. While it holds and bends clubs great, the loft measurements aren't accurate. I use my old Maltby (crappy) machine to hold the shaft and use a loft protractor to measure.
The Scotland's (mine at least) weren't accurate across all clubs. If I recall, I shimmed things until the 6i loft read correctly, but the 2i was off a couple of degrees (let's say weak) and the PW was off a couple of degrees in the other direction.
For lie, I always set by dynamic testing so I don't really care if it is accurate or not.
I have a feeling that my Scotland is an exception. I would suggest that you measure three or four clubs (e.g., 3i, 6i, 9i, SW) on both machines and then take them to someone who has a club measuring machine and see if the numbers match up.
