I will repeat what I have said before. When you can purchase a corded 3/8" variable speed reversible drill for $10-$15 what convience is in replacing batteries at $40+ each! Buy several drills have them in holders at each work station, never have to change bits, burrs, brushes etc.  I have 5 hand drills around the shop and my total outlay was about what you will pay for 1 battery pack. Of course these are used in the shop and not when climbing up on the roof to mount some new fangled antenna!

Great point about the chargers killing the batteries! Now I understand why the dust buster and flashlight batteries (rechargeables) die! I'll put them on switched outlets so when the lights are off they are not overcharging.
The wealth of knowledge here will never cease to amaze me!
