SA2000 requires a tight fit and clean surfaces. Check that out. The white residue is simply the heated remains of the product. 100° shouldn't have been a problem. An eight iron flew off the shaft and into a lake and a seven iron head could be twisted off easily by hand. On the seven-iron shaft I did not notice any residue. The shaft looked as if part A had been applied and was ready for Part B.
