Pat,
On bore-thru I add an additional clamp behind RK's
puller, I use the Pro Metal Vice Clamp from GS #8288
with a wide body screw clamp that I made. I found that
by adding twice the clamp surface, you can pull almost
any standard head with very little heat, and the
bore-thru's with about the same heat that you need for
a standard head with one clamp. I use a mini butane,
heat the head, add a little tension, wait 1 minute,
reheat and pull the head, Hope this helps.
