Seems to me it should be possible to "tune" the ball and clubhead
combination to get improved launch velocities. IOW, choosing and/or
designing carefully to get them both recovering from the deformation of
collision at the same rate, or having one recovering at a low order
harmonic of the other. Sort of a "sum of the parts being greater than the
whole" kind of effect.
Does anyone know if this is actually the case?
