I was a beta tester for a few revs. Never got involved with the license.
The version currently on my computer (v12a I think; its date is Feb 11, 2001) doesn't have so much as a copyright notice on it. Nor is there any title, nor even Carey's name -- except in the content as the sample "customer" represented by the sample data when I bring up the file. Not very product-like at all.
Maybe John M would know. He was more involved with the business end of it.
