Yes that’s definitely true that the CF both bends the shaft forward AND pulls the shaft back in an attempt to straighten the shaft at the same time.  I wonder which one wins?

Even more so it depends on club head speed because that is what generates the centrifugal force pulling the head down and also on tip flex. A soft tip will be more affected. It is interesting the manufacturers keep putting the weight back in the club head to help the average player get the ball up but the average player does not have the club head speed to generate the centrifugal force to flex the shaft
