Davy / Harry, Sorry, I didn't even save a set of those for my personal collection and those orphaned irons were liquidated many moons ago. The mold were destroyed years ago as well. The only hope - and a long shot - would be to register on our forum and post a query in the Clubmaker to Clubmaker discussion group and set if a fellow reader squirreled away a set. http://forum.hirekogolf.com/

But, the first thing to do in such a situation is to notify all golf, pro, and pawn shops in the area because your set was not likely stolen by a golfer and would not be easy to fence. Not being a golfer, the thief would not be likely to have friends to whom he could sell them. The other possibilities would be to monitor local classified or eBay advertising, or perhaps, initiate a Google alert. In California, thieves sometimes roamed parking lots of public courses trying to sell stolen clubs. Such thieves would likely try to sell the bag and clubs together so having a photo of the bag could be helpful in pursuing recovery, because it could be distributed to starters with a reward offer. That aside, you may just have luck with the Club Scouter in Texas or Ironfinder in California, if Henry is still in business. It is surprising the stuff that these guys have, although it is mostly individual clubs rather than full sets. The only other ideas might be to reach out to Jeff Summitt at Hireko, the company that acquired Dynacraft--Jeff came from Dynacraft in the acquisition package I believe--or TomWishon since he was a moving force in Dynacraft's early days, but that is a stretch. However, Tom or Jeff may know what became of the production molds and enable you to track down whether anybody overseas might still be producing them or at least still have leftover heads. A lot of this kind of thing wound up in Korea at one time. Personally, I would suggest that you replicate the shaft behavior if those sticks worked well for you. You can put any head on the optimum shaft behavior for you and play golf, but when the shaft is wrong it doesn't matter what's on the end of the stick, you are going to have problems. Good luck and hope this helps. -Davy. > Date: Mon, 25 Mar 2013 21:07:29 -0500 > To: [email protected]; [email protected] > From: [email protected] > Subject: ShopTalk: Dynacraft LCG II irons > > Yeah, I know it's a long shot, but I'm hoping one of you good people > knows where I could find a set of Dynacraft LCG II irons.
