All true, but as I already pointed out, you could just ignore these -
this could be implemented with a slight tweak of the configure script.
As I just pointed in my previous post - if having repeated variable
names is not much of an eyesore for you, then the configure script would
have much more simplistic look, particularly given that some of the
parameters passed by the RPM system could safely be ignored.
