Heinrich, At this point I think it's best if you tried 0.11.1, which is coming out soon. It will have a number of bug fixes, many of them dealing with tags and heirarchical tags (which seems to be the source of many of these issues). You might need to clear your library and re-import from F-Spot after you upgrade.
