I've left Shotwell running all day, but no more JPG files have been generated.

I've also run through the whole event by double-clicking on the first thumbnail 
and displaying it in full-screen size, and then right-arrowing through from 
beginning to end. Still there are only seven JPG files in this directory.

I shouldn't complain, because there is no apparent performance hit, and I'm 
saving a lot of disc space, but I'm worried that I might have to pay for this 
seemingly free lunch in the end!

I'm going to be away from home for a couple of weeks, will continue to 
investigate this oddity when I get back.
