I've tried both with nandwrite and dfu-util. Nandwrite mentioned bad blocks 
but running nand_eraseall and nandtest didn' fix my bad block table.
Even after using nand scrub it fails to boot.
If I exchange kernel image 2.6.37 -> 2.6.34 the freerunner boots up properly 
again.
