Hi folks, My shr-t is pretty good now. There are a few outstanding bugs, but generally it works well enough as a phone. Which I'm very pleased about. I also enjoy the opportunity it gives me to explain to people a tiny bit about software freedom, when they were just expecting a consumer product overview :-)
Anyway, I have a very little problem: the time is always wrong. I'm in the U.K. which is currently GMT+1. I can set the correct time from the time/date part of settings. However, whenever GSM or GPS registers (not sure which, or if it's either), the time is set back to GMT. I presume my timezone is set to GMT. How can I change it? Also, I'd rather like a ringtone which sounds a little more like a phone. Anyone know where such a thing may be found? And if there's a reasonably licensed one somewhere, could we set it as the default for shr? Thanks a lot, Nick
