It *was* possible to build both. And that changed - and that's why we're left 
with one of them now.

No idea, if it was raster's decision to do that... But for sure I know that 
it's not raster himself doing the rewrite. The 'trick' about illume2 is that 
every part is modular and can be exchanged. Just needs someone to step up and 
write what we want... volunteers? ;)
