I can do that soon, I want to see if the new xorg-xserver still has the bug. Before I do that I need to make a backup of my nand as my current install works pretty well and I want to be able to revert if there are 2.6.37 bugs etc.

The original PR in xserver-xorg_1.9.4.bb is PR = "${INC_PR}.0" Bumping the .0 to .1 fails; it looks like it tries to reapply the patches. I commented out the patch lines in the recipe and built the attached package. (oops, attachement was too big, get it here: http://jeepingben.homelinux.net/freerunner_packages/xserver-xorg_1.9.4-r19. 1.6_armv4t.ipk ) The problem my 'fix' addresses seems to be known: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=160690 I also see the problem with dpi changing after a few rotations. I spent a little time looking at omnewrotate and seeing if a command to reset the screen size could be added as a workaround. BenHi, it would be nice if you can send your patch to the shr-devel mailing list, so we can add it to the feed.
