Dear Alexandre,
I think you can include vectorisation, as it speeds up many operations.
If you encounter important discrepancies between your vectorised results and those of the Tests subdirectory (not vectorised!) send me the arch.make and a copy of the vectorised outputs.
Cheers,
Eduardo

Dear Siesta Users,

I made make the compilation of siesta both in sequential and parallel version on a computational center. The engeneer compiled siesta with intel fortran version 10.
I repeat her words:
"Using '-O' gives '-O2' which includes vectorisation.
(intel compiler version 9.1's -O does not contain vectorisation but intel compiler
version 10.1 's -O, yes)
So please make sure that all the numbers are ok.
If not I will recompile without vectorisation option.
I can try -O3 too."

My question is concerned with the compilation that includes vectorisation as it exhibits discrepancies when compared to the results of the Tests of siesta.
Would you incorporate vectorisation in the compilation or leave it??

Many thanks in advance,

Alexandre
