Another option is Python. Whenever anyone recommends Perl, I always
recommend Python...especially to programmers who already know an object-
oriented language and don't already know Perl. Python is as full-featured
as Perl and, in my opinion, a lot easier to deal with then Perl (at least
for any non-trivial project). :-)
