I'm quite partial to Tyan myself. I have a Tyan in all my boxes and haven't had
any trouble with them. Their tech. support a few years ago was terrible (I was
looking for I/O shields that fit the board) but it may have improved since then.
I would suggest the same approach for locating one as Tom did. Supermicro and
Intel also make nice motherboards. Asus|Tyan, Intel, Gigabyte|Supermicro are the
brands I'd stick with, in that order.
