i'm a new user to linux and i just recently got set up. I'm using RH 5.1. i
have some questions that are probably considered trivial to the most of
you, if not all. anyhow, to connect with telesys i run netcfg as root.
after i'm logged in, i login in with another username and try to run xstart
on another terminal and i get an error that says "Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0. if this server is no longer running
remove /tmp/.X0-lock and start again. i tried the latter and it didn't
work. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?
