Well, I've been using linux for 2 weeks, so...
emacs
netscape
netscape mail
kwm (I'll play with gnome when it gets more stable)
Maxwell (document processing) I'll learn TeX after I learn perl.
Oh I forgot a category, mp3 player:
kmpg

I also use xearth for my background.

(btw, in windows, winamp takes maybe 0.5% resources, well under 1. everything
I've tried in X- X11Amp and kmpg take 70% and 40% resources respectively. Any
clues? I'm running a P-200 MMX 64MB Ram, so I don't really understand why it's
taking so much)

I posted this whole thing last night when I was realy angry because gnome-lib
asked me for another lib to get it to configure, then asked for 3 more libs.
So I thought I'd post some flame-bait, but noone really picked up on it. It
wasn't really flame-bait. The thought just corssed my mind.
