Hi guys,
I have a question about X monitor settings.
When I configure my monitor in XF86Config, i put my real hsync/vsync
specifications 30-70/50-120 (my monitor is Sony CPD-100es), and put video
mode on 1024x768x32b, so when i run X, it automatically sets my frequency
on 75hz(60khz/75hz).
As it says in the XF86Config comments, it uses the best mode monitor
specifications can afford. It runs on 75hz, but my monitor also can run on
85hz(68.7knz/85hz) with that specifications, and I'm pretty sure it looks
much better (i
have been using that with windoz for a year).
Question: Is there any way i can tweak that freq. thing?
ps; my monitor manual SWEARs that it must work with 1024x768x85hz
