I think this is a great idea. I think the question of CPUs is
particularly interesting, especially in relation to the intended
use or design. (Say, AMD and integers vs. Intel and floating point or
other hardware innovations or something.) But I don't think we
should make a whole list just for "how do I get my 3Com card
to work with linux?"
