im tired as hell, but can give you this:

start with `man XF86Config` (assuming rh71 has recent X). search
'VertRefresh' (press '/', type your search text, hit enter). i think
that is the option you want. im no monitor buff. XF86Config is located
at /etc/X11/XF86Config typically. if its not there, try `locate
XF86Config`. restart X. wash rinse repeat
