that is strange, when preparing the last email i just sent you before this one, i checked the vendor website and re-downloaded the linux package which is named KingstVIS_v3.4.2.tar.gz and i also checked that its contents did not change compared to the same download from june.
ah, i see. i re-checked the website. it lists version "3.4.3" for windows, but Mac and Linux is still listed with 3.4.2. so i would doubt that your hardware requires the 3.4.3 version that is only avaliable for windows. you could also check whether the vendors version 3.4.1 from your CD is working with your device. i successfully tested firmware from vendor version 3.4.0 and 3.4.2. The vendor software at the CD is 3.4.1 and the currently available download software version is 3.4.3. I fear that there are differences in the firmware versions and the commands necessary to communicate with the device. Does anybody know where I can get the vendor's public available installer software 3.4.2?
so i guess you extracted the firmware from 3.4.2 vendor version which is working on my side. (you could still compare the md5 hashes) flo. _______________________________________________ sigrok-devel mailing list sigrok-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sigrok-devel
