No hope currently - that is true - but don't get complacent. Seats change hands, however government policies and agendas remain for years - and this and other issues may motivate the Krudd government to seek a double dissolution due to their frustration with the balance of power. The issue will not go away until it becomes political suicide to even consider it as a party platform policy.
