A few other things to keep in mind when paying yourself (this is easy
to miss in doing any budget) - 9% goes to super.  This applies on both
payg and director fee's.  Its an easy one to forget.  Not sure if
super can be calmed as an R&D expense. (?)

Also, consider this - if you are consulting say 20hours per week and
that pays you X dollars a week and in addition you do 40 hours a week
on development for the next big thing - you have worked 60 hours a
week the company.  lets say 90% of those 40 hours are pure r&d
related.  so that's 36hours.   You can still calm 36/60 => 60% of any
salary you pay yourself towards the R&D offset.  ie. you are paid to
work for the company, that work is split between consulting, admin and
r&d. (this should be confirmed by "accounting" type people), you are
not only paid just for the consulting.  This is also an important idea
to get your head around.
