Hi, Been reading for some time after stumbling onto the group while doing some market research. Not even sure I understand the subject of the group, but I think I'll stick around a bit longer to learn.
I've been working in R&D and IT in Australia and overseas for some years, lately I've started my own software company. We develop a product called Nominal Accounting Software, I don't want to bore with the details (we have a website http://www.nominal.com.au), it is a tool for Australian small businesses which supports the SBR framework and is very simple to use. Switching from IT/technical enterprise roles to this is hectic, I find myself struggling with marketing, channels, pricing, support, certification, registration , all kind of things every day... It is challenging and exciting. Would love to learn more about start ups in Australia, I wouldn't exactly call it a start up, we don't exactly build tiny cameras that go in your body, but I guess there are still a lot of things in common.
