Hey everyone Not sure if many of you know, but CeBIT (the largest IT conference in Australia which starts tomorrow in Sydney) has a special area dedicated to promoting web startups called Webciety.
A bunch of silicon beachers have been a part of Webciety before - Geoff McQueen and Bart as 2 examples. Normally an exhibition booth costs $4500 + insurance but PushStart has grabbed one and, rather than hogging it, is sharing it with any startups that want to exhibit, for $25 per 2 hour spot. By "sharing" i mean you get to have the booth for 2 hours - your marketing materials, your people on it, you talk to any of the people who come by. It's effectively yours.
