Happy New Year and may 2013 be everything you want it to be! J I had a question to ask everyone as I value your feedback but before I do so I should give you a bit of background first. So last year I was working slowly to develop my business plan and seek finance to get my start-up off the ground while completing a Master of Public Health. I managed to get a small loan and business support grant through a commonwealth department to register a company name, trade mark and manufacture samples. My start-up is called Nakili Organics, it is a social entrepreneurship start-up born out of my dream to actively support community development projects in Western Province of Papua New Guinea where I grew up. Basically after loosing many family, friends and community members to preventable diseases and poverty, I decided I had to do something!! I’d always wanted to run my own business so I figured this would be a great way to fulfil my dream to be an entrepreneur and my life goal to help those people (my people). I plan to launch a crowdfunding campaign to assist me to launch my startup first part of this year. I have done some background research into crowdfunding and am interested to know your experience/knowledge on the subject. My question to everyone is: How do you develop and run a successful crowdfunding campaign; and which platform would you use? I would greatly appreciate your feedback!
