But what do these guys want? Do they want a couple of airliners blown up before accepting that there was a threat? Reminds me of an asshole on my med college alumni website who asked, after serial murderer/poacher Veerappan was shot dead, "Why was no policemen shot dead in the fight?" If you put yourself in the shoes of a security agency you have to contend with the following choices: 1) Airliners get blown up and you get blamed for incompetence 2) Airliners are not blown up and you are accused of raising a false alarm.
