The President's response is so typical, it hardly merits attention or comment, except for the harassment of innocent people it has triggered. Politicians the world over invariably choose to attack the messenger/message rather than address the issues. It simply isn't profitable to clean up any system (refer to Sastry's recent comment on the Valuing Life thread), it is easier to intimidate people who report on injusticises...if no one knows about it, it can't really exist.
