The British Library never had a children's section....not to my knowledge. I remember asking why, even when Prince JugEars came, and the library was renewed, a children's section wasn't added. So....Billy Bunters...go hunt in the bookshops of Russell Market area...
I struck incredibly lucky when two clubs I belonged to, and a mobile Library that comes every week, had sales of damaged books. I collected so many favourites..Agatha Christies, Dick Francis, Evelyn Anthony.Asterix, Tintin, Calvin and Hobbes..it was really a fantastic opportunity. Deepa.
