Yeah and SQ is 11:40 or something, TG is after midnight from MAA. Not much of a difference. So here is what I do on LH. Get slightly smashed in the lounge, or take ambient, sleep. Don’t bother to eat anything on board the plane, you wont need it. Probably the breakfast when they wake you up a couple of hours before landing, but a granola bar or two should be enough if you need it. > I've been on a 3am flight in Delhi which sat on the tarmac fogged in > until it was cancelled at 9am. There is a Lufthansa through Munich, but > every time I book it seems to either be significantly more expensive or sold > out. Daytime flight, that - DEL-MUC. So yeah no surprise. And MAA doesn’t have fog delays. I'm LH SEN (*G) and I get decent treatment - op-ups on a fairly regular basis, decent customer support etc. Oh, and if you are UA *G you can get exit rows and such on LH - but LH status pax don’t get premium eco on UA these days. You'll hate it. But they're as regular as a clock e&oe delhi weather. And exit rows (32 BC / HJ) or the window just behind it - 33A/K, no seat in front thanks to the door .. that's tons of legroom, and as a UA elite you CAN score it. > way back in SIN is also a pain. Might be worth skyteam if you do two or three trips a year to India. > The positive thing I'll end this note with - use Kayak, it's *so* > useful for figuring out one's options.
