I missed this sentence earlier. Dead right. Atheism, agonsticism and blind belief are all acceptable within Hinduism. That is why you will find many Hindus claiming to be atheist. You can be atheist and Hindu because Hinduism is not fundamentally about God. After typing the previous paragraph it dawned on me that violence alone may not have been responsible for the survival of Hindusism - but a healthy body of agnostics and atheists could have contributed to that. However, even atheists and agnostics can be killed by a violent ideology unless they are willing to defend themselves. Violence is the biggest God of all. shiv
