I guess there is some variability here. My school principal in Hyderabad was Y.R.R.P.Raju with 4 initials before the name And there is Vangipurappu Venkata Sai Lakshman with 3. I was under the impression that the median occurrence was 2 initials before the name. And less frequent 1 initial before the name, like you. Maybe I'm wrong.
