If you read Brahmi and are interested in ancient scripts here is something that might interest you: 1. A man called Wim Borsboom has developed a hypothesis to say how modern Roman alphabet may be derived from Brahmi. He says that the order of letters was mixed up and some letters lost in transit. The story is original and makes a good yarn if nothing else. It can neither be proven nor ruled out IMO.
