Venkat, Augmented Reality was ofcourse enticing and interesting, but the go-to-markets for early technologies are still 3-4 years away. Both Google/Microsoft Glass and Hololens, were brave billion dollar attempts, but commercially still very early. Also I wanted to move back, and AR isn't a market at all in India.
Carbon capture seemed like a thing we could pull off, for an onground impact/deployment. Venkatesh, Blockchain is nothing but decentralized record keeping/ledger in public, ran by the public. Technically any multi-party social system that requires transparency can be answered by blockchain. I am not an expert, but I could connect with with my team-mate who leads the initiative on blockchain. e.g. land records, voting, carbon credits etc. e.g. read this <https://www.forbes.com/sites/sindhujabalaji/2017/12/28/indias-blockchain-revolution-goes-beyond-banks/#533667324123> .
