I would love to cut over to the Indian "Namaste"/"Namaskaram"/"Namaskara" rather than shake hands, which is unhygienic for many reasons. But I am still trying to figure out how to do it without alienating someone who expects a handshake or even reaches out their hand. Any ideas on how to make the shift in business settings?
I guess the alternative is to wash hands a lot more, which I now do, and for 15-20 seconds each time...
