Good Morning,

>> Every time this comes up I must pipe up. I totally second Wayne's motion.
35% H2O2 is really dangerous stuff. I was burned by it so many times that I started handling it only with long sleeves and long pants, buttoned collar, gloves and eye goggles. I still got a few burns.

I like to see a well written, factual message as Daddybob wrote.

At the same time, I hate to see many scared away from one of the best "Miracle Medicines".

So, ...... therefore I state some of my ideas on dangers and risks.

Daddybob did mention that he had done some dangerous things over the years. I have also. And maybe he feels like I do, we have both used up a lot of our good luck in life.

When thinking about the dangerous things I have done, likely driving over 1.5 million miles on Americas highways may have been the most dangerous. Walking Steel beams 100 feet is the air is another. Hunting and fishing in places infested with poison snakes is close to the top also.

Dangers and Risks relate to "Proper Handling" of anything.
I have handled modern propellant, black powder, dynamite, many highly toxic chemicals, and on and on.

Another highly dangerous thing I have done is connecting electrical services with full power on the power lines. I have never worked with truly high voltage, but have worked on 480 /3 phase many times. Again, Proper handling is the key as to why I am still alive.

The point is, ....... it is possible to properly and safely handle
34 and 35 % H2 O2. One can dilute it to any desirable per cent, even 3 % or anything between 3 and 35. Make is safe, you only have to handle it in the concentrated form ONE TIME.

Risks and Risk taking is a personal thing. Not one can tell us.
You decide to make a 500 or 1000 mile trip. Likely the most dangerous thing one can do today. You accept the risk.
That is your business, no one else's.

I urge you to study the many benefits of H2 O2 and consider the benefits.

As smart as DadddyBob is, I am surprised he got burned by
H2 O2. <grin>

Wayne
