have been sold a bill of goods about Vitamin C- namely that Ascorbic Acid is
Vitamin C, and that only Ascorbic Acid is Vitamin C. The medical name and the
mainstream definition of Vitamin C is Ascorbic Acid. In part, we have Linus
Pauling to thank for that.

Ascorbic Acid as we get it in supplemental form is not a natural product, it
is synthesized. Some contend that Ascorbic Acid in nature represents about 5%
of the total spectrum of vitamin C compounds.

I suspect that this study is rigged one way or another, and given the true
nature of what we've been led to believe- that Ascorbic Acid is all there is
to Vitamin C- this result was probably not hard to predict or get.

Just this week I finally decided to drop my standing order of Ascorbic Acid
powder from the Vitamin C Foundation, whom I regard as a fine outfit. We got
on standing order while treating Lyme, and I probably wouldn't hesitate to do
it again should the need arise.

But I'm ready to go more natural for my vitamin C. I ordered three bottles of
NOW Acerola Powder from Amazon.

Oh and one more thing, Any of you regularly taking ascorbic acid or any
mineral ascorbates (made with ascorbic acid) might want to do some homework
about where your ascorbic acid originated from. A lot is coming from China.
Anybody heard of any problems lately with Chinese stuff?

We learned the hard way in this house that cheap ascorbic acid can make you
very sick.
