I have done so with an abscessed finger. Using a syringe without a needle I squirted some 120ppm EIS directly into the open infection from an animal bite. It hurt a lot, but once the initial pain subsided the relief from the pain of the infection was quite noticeable. I only had to do it once. Redness and swelling at the site reduced rapidly. Silvia
