Subject: CS>generator advice?
[I guess you got your membership card on that message. I was beginning to
wonder, ........... <grin>]
Morning to you Wayne,
I'm a person who is used to speaking face to face all my life that's all,
this computer thing is....odd/awkward/unnatural! Also, everywhere I look
there is someone who is an 'agent' or supports one manufacturer or another
which makes it a little uncomfortable speaking freely about ones own
methods/equipment/conclusions/results/opinions etc. Could be construed as
opposing.
Added to that I read in other places about people entering these forum
things and 'trampling' or....sorry, can't remember the other word now, so
it's better if I just dip my toes in first and edge in slowly.
It's OK though, I just move around in the shadows reading and learning how
others speak. I just need to learn how to choose my words properly that's
all, don't want to upset anyone, (just don't mention that 'E' word which
ends with 'tronics' that's all I ask!!). :-)
There is one thing I will say though, and that is I wish one could have the
opportunity to see other peoples setups and methods for making EICS
generators, and what their end products look like as I think this would be
of real advantage to people who may be starting out on this CS 'journey' but
are sick and tired of just reading reading and more reading of all the crap
out there without the advantage of actually seeing something which may
encourage them to discuss and/or comment more openly to learn something
which maybe new, or being able to confirm that the colour of their CS is OK,
or set them straight if they are doing something wrong etc. I think that
would be really helpful. This would probably promote better and more
accurate educational material, while prompting more intelligent discussion.
Oops, 'intelligent' sounds a little 'off' but I hope you know what I mean.
It would certainly off-set all the hype and BS in the public domain which is
out there in profusion. I think it would make for a more cohesive group of
people, or site if you like, who are into this stuff whereby others who may
be looking on can participate and learn more of the TRUTH about it all, with
the added benefit of pictures. Could be a real educational tool I reckon.
It would certainly be a major opposing tool, or force, which can be used
against the knockers and perpetrators of negative propaganda, and I think
you know who the 'big boys' are I am referring to there.
Just thoughts that's all. (probably frustration speaking, or I just don't
savvy forums enough yet). Maybe I'm up to my ankles now!
Have a good day...Neville.
