I don't follow you. He said that the higher the voltage or the lower the resistance the higher the current. Ohms law is I = V/R. Doesn't that say exactly the same thing?

 Certainly I agree.

 I thought he said,  "The Resistance will  be lower"  ( change )

  Not  "Or the lower the resistance".

I read it several times but I was reading,  "The resistance will change".
I need some new glasses, ..... maybe this week.  <grin>

I consider a resistor to be a finite device, and changes only slightly with temperature
and the co efficient of expansion.

Not considering inductance, capacitance, higher frequencies, ect.

Seems we normally mean DC, unless we state something different.

By the way, I have a nice inductance meter that I do not use often except for
bogus wiring and long communication circuits. I doubt that it is 100 % correct, but is a guideline and reference. The inductance and capacitance can handicap or disable communications at times,

Often I have communication circuits that are 1/4 to 1/2 mile long ( and more ) , go thru several buildings, several junction boxes, and contain different kinds of wire.

The thumb rule is 4000 feet maximum, without a repeater,  but that means
"Half Decent Wire".

Sort of like finding a needle in the haystack, ........... at times.

Thanks for all the good messages. Much better than my correspondence course back in
the 1950's.
