My husband and I both have had that problem before (same area, same discription) and ours was fungal. We found that Clortrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Crream USP by Actavis (Rx only) works wonders. It will be gone in about two days. I don't know if you can find it without a script. I use deodorant (no anti-perspirant) with triclosan in it but have been using this for the past 4 years off and on. I have experimented with the DMSO/CS mixture but it doesn't seem to help. I need some suggestions as to what might help. My doctor thinks it is fungal but I have tried everything from Terbinafine (Rx) to OTC antifungal remedies. No go. Thanks!
