My well water reads over 300 on a PPM meter... loads of iron and
calcium....A mere Britta filter takes it down to around 60.

Geez, the tap water here, even filtered, pegs my Hanna PWT meter, so it is
a lot higher than that, but over 99uS. Not sure what it would read on a TDS.
