I've been supplementing their raw foods with all kinds of things, like algae
powder, herbs, and have started adding MSM. Its also good for the skin, so
I'm hoping for some good results, even though I'm not 100% of the cause. Its
hard to treat something, if you're not sure what caused it :-(

They get salmon oil, flax oil, or coconut oil. I've also started adding Chia
seeds as well, to their ground veggies. And still, the Sheltie has to
suffer, although as I type this email, I've notice our cat scratching...
wonder if he's got fleas :-(
I just treated all 5 of our 4-legged fiends with some spot-on oils from the
holistic vet.

Does your dog take the CS at all? My dogs won't drink it, so when I want to
give them some, I have to squirt it into their mouths, except for our
kitten. She loves the stuff! And drinks it undiluted! I find that amazing!
We also add some CS into the bird's water, and I could swear, that our bird
had a stroke or something. He could hard stand on his two feet. We thought
he was dying. We gave him some CS into his little beak, and within 10-15
minutes, he was regaining his strength again! He's one of those Cockatiels,
and is about 17 yrs. old. His wings were clipped when we got him 8 yrs. ago,
so he can't fly. Not even after getting some CS :-)
